Dear St Andrew’s Family,
We have some exciting news to share! After much anticipation, we are delighted to announce that the Nexus Project will officially commence this September. This initiative is a significant step forward in realizing our vision for St Andrews by enhancing our church facilities in three key ways:
- Greater Accessibility: Nexus will make our building more accessible throughout the week, inviting more people to use our space.
- Urgent Building Improvements: We will address critical updates needed for our facilities.
- Improved Meeting Spaces: Our meeting spaces will be enhanced for both the church and the wider community.
Project Highlights
- Larger Kitchen: A new, spacious kitchen to support various church activities, including the lunch club and Christmas events.
- New Offices: Offices at the front of the building to improve accessibility.
- Additional Toilets: New and more toilets to better accommodate our needs.
- Usable Space: Overall, the project will open up and make our space more versatile for a range of activities.
Financial Support Needed
Currently, we have a funding gap of £320,000. We plan to bridge this with a loan and expected grants, but we still need to raise £100,000.
