Children's Ministry

Seeing the Hearts and Minds of Children Transformed by the Love of the Holy Spirit

Even the youngest of us can be moved by God’s presence.

Our values at St Andrew’s all form around the truth that God is at work in us and through us no matter how old or young we are.

We love to see children of all ages encounter God.

We want to see children come to know who they are in Christ and what they carry as children of the King.

Kindle provides a safe environment for children to play, and includes stories and activities appropriate for them.

Do feel free to bring your child in at any time during the celebration.

We teach children about God through Bible stories, crafts and games and how they can follow Jesus now.

We also have a snack time together, which gives us a great opportunity to talk to the children and pray about what we have been learning.

Kosmic is a fun and fast moving blend of craft, music, games, teaching children how to follow Jesus!

Through a mix of teaching styles we love finding out more about God together and creating an environment for them to encounter God.

What to Expect on a Sunday?

When you arrive at church for our 10:15 am service, you can find our Children’s team in the lounge to help you sign-in your child before the service starts.

If it’s your child’s first time joining, you as their parent or carer is asked to complete a digital visitor form at the check in desk to register your child safely.

Children and Young people then join us in the service for the first 15 mins and then have their own groups that they enjoy with community and safe, fun programs aimed at their age group.

  • Kindle meet in the Crèche at the back of church
  • Kingdom Kids meet in St Andrew’s house next to the main church
  • Kosmic meet downstairs in the Hickman Hall

You can collect your child from their respective groups after the service at 11:45am. Remember to bring the ticket given to you at registration to allow you to safely collect your child.

We also encourage you to join our church database ChurchSuite and register yourself and your child if you are attending church regularly.
