On Sunday 29/Sept, following intensifying missile strikes from the Israeli Forces in and around the ancient Biblical city of Tyre, Lebanon, “Matt” & “Ian” (not their real names) – Jonathan Holmberg’s 2 Palestinian brothers and their families evacuated by car.
They headed 8hrs north, to a more peaceful area in search of some reprieve from the devastating war. They are now being temporarily housed by fellow Christians there and are seeking suitable short-term accommodation for their families (4 adults, 2 late teens + 2 young children: 5 & 3yrs olds who’ve been quite traumatised already.) They reached out to Jonathan to see if anybody abroad might be able to assist them with their relocation costs: first couple of months of rent.
