Safer Church

Safeguarding Matters

Creating a safer church

Further to our own policies, we also make use of the Church of England Safeguarding E-Manual(opens in a new window) which has everything you need to know about safeguarding in the Church of England.

At St Andrew’s, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming and caring environment for everyone, especially children, young people and adults who may be vulnerable. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and we take all concerns seriously.

If you are worried about the safety or wellbeing of a child, young person or adult, or if something doesn’t feel right, please speak up. Concerns can be reported confidentially and will be handled sensitively and appropriately.
