Find out more about God’s Vision for St Andrew’s, and what becoming a Resource Church might look like.
‘After the ‘Storm’ of the last year we have been looking together as a church at what God is leading us into. Having been designated as a Resource Church for the town of High Wycombe, what does this mean to each person in the life of St Andrew’s. This talk looks at three priorities that we learn from the book of Haggai – To ‘be strong’ in God’s strength, not our own. To ‘be filled’ with the Holy Spirit and then to step into the call God has for us individually and together as church.
Following the events of the last year and the shaking that we have all experienced, there will need to be a new stage of rebuilding church life. Alongside this change in the wider world, St Andrew’s is also changing to become a Resource Church for the High Wycombe area. In this video, Simon Dust and Charles Vernon talk about what this will mean for each of us, drawing on the experience of the prophet Haggai in the bible, as he leads the people of God into rebuilding the city of Jerusalem.
