Restored by Jesus

The Emmaus road passage gives us insight into how Jesus helped the dejected disciples re-story how they were looking at life and their expectations of a saviour. In his coming alongside them, showing them how the Bible was right all along, and revealing himself to them in a powerful way the disciples were filled again with faith in their risen Lord and turned back to Jerusalem to join the other disciples in God’s plan for them and the world.
