Living Generous Lives

We all want to make a difference in this world and the way we spend our resources determines our impact. The bible teaches us that the great paradox in life is this: those who try to hold on to their lives will lose them, and the ones who generously sacrifice their lives will gain them. Generosity is not only a matter of money, but also our time, talents and areas of influence. In this series, we will explore how a generous life will change us and change the world.

  • Who do you serve?

Who do you serve? As part of our series on living generously we see that Jesus calls us and expects us to use our money, gifting and time to serve whoever is in front of us.

  • Are you a giver or a taker?

The world could be divided into Givers and Takers. A recent survey from a number of different countries all identified with the majority of adults aspiring to be givers. So how can you detect which one you lean towards in your own life? How does Jesus challenge James and John to be givers in this story. We will also discover that actually living as a giver is far better for you in every area of your life in the long run.
