As a church we will be looking at how we can grow deeper in ‘Being with Jesus’. To be a follower of Jesus in the early church was to be called a member of ‘The Way’. This involved a lifestyle that was built around the template of Jesus’ own life. Over these next few months we will be learning what this looks like and how these practises can help us to become more and more like Jesus.

After having put on the full armour of God, Ephesians 6:18 says to pray with “all kinds of prayers”. What are all kinds of prayer? How does the Spirit lead us to choose the right kind of prayer for the situations we are facing? We will look at patterns of prayer and examples of different kinds of prayer from the word of God that will enhance our prayer lives and make prayer more exciting and effective.
