Why mentoring?

St Andrew’s is committed fully to the importance of mentoring as one of the fundamental foundations within St Andrew’s 2020 vision. If you are serious about your personal Christian life and have a desire to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, then we would encourage you to find a mentor, whatever age you are or stage of life you are at.

What makes mentoring different from other relationships?

Mentoring is about deliberately asking someone to walk alongside you to help you grow and develop in a particular area. It is for a season, with a reason. We recommend a minimum of 6 months commitment, meeting every 4-6 weeks with your mentor.

To become a mentee download;

1.   an information sheet for mentees here which sets out the next steps.

2.   a mentee questionnaire here which will help you think about the areas you would like to work on and grow in.

If you are interested in training to be a mentor then please contact the church office office@standrewshw.co.uk

If you are a young person (under 18), speak to the youth pastor who will help you to connect with a mentor.
