Ant (30) and Amy (29) grew up in Cambridge and Milton Keynes, they met at New Wine in 2009, when Amy was a member of Kat Aboud’s youth group! Ant went on to study politics at the University of York, followed by a career in fundraising whilst Amy’s studies in history and history of Art took her to Leicester and then to Venice. They were married in 2014, shortly before Ant began training for Anglican ministry in Cambridge and Amy embarked on a career in the charity sector. After ordination, they moved to rural Nottinghamshire to help plant a new fresh expression of church in a cattle shed. Then in 2018 they moved to the city of Nottingham for Ant to complete his curacy at St Jude’s Church Mapperley and for Amy to begin a new career as a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages. Over the past two and a half years Ant has overseen the discipleship of 20s-30s, Alpha, men’s ministry, eco-church and a parish mission alongside being a hospice chaplain, whilst Amy has overseen the prayer ministry team. In April 2020 Amy gave birth to their first child and daughter Felicity. In his spare time Ant enjoys home brewing, watching ice hockey, running, board games and a good book, whilst Amy relaxes by reading, running, baking, going to the theatre and eating chocolate!
