Daniel 5: 1, 5-7,13-30
Daniel 5:1, 5-7, 13-30 teaches us what it means to serve God with boldness. At Belshazzar’s feast, Daniel fearlessly confronts the king, proclaiming God’s judgment on him for his pride and blasphemy. Despite the potential consequences, Daniel remains steadfast in his loyalty to God and courageous in sharing the prophetic word that God had given him. His boldness came from his unwavering faith and trust in God’s power and sovereignty. This passage encourages us to be unafraid to stand up for what’s right and speak the truth, even in the face of opposition. It reminds us that God honours those who are bold and committed to him, often in surprising ways.
