God often calls you to take huge steps of faith when you don’t have the resources that are needed. The story of feeding the five thousand is a a great example of how this works out. We see a number of steps that are necessary in preparation for the miracle to take place. Firstly, there is an awareness of the need followed by some level of God testing our faith, particularly when we have an inadequate supply of what is needed whether it is financial or our own skills, abilities or experience. Finally, when God does something amazing, he nearly always invites our participation in what He does.
