In order to be Emotionally Healthy as followers of Jesus we want to orientate our lives more and more around how Jesus lived. He entered our world and showed us what it meant to come alongside people in widely different circumstances. As John wrote ‘The Word (Jesus) became flesh and blood and moved into the neighbourhood.’ He connected with prostitutes, lepers, leaders, foreigners and never left people the same. Whilst he was fully human, Jesus never lost his relationship with his Father. Jesus was able to hang between two worlds.
